I am both humbled and honored to step into the role of President of Exalta Health. Following in the footsteps of Ed Postma, who has faithfully served this organization for the past five years, is a responsibility I don’t take lightly. Ed’s dedication to Exalta’s mission and to the community has left a legacy, and I am grateful for the foundation he helped build.
Before coming to Exalta Health, I spent 13 incredible years at Family Promise of West Michigan, most recently as Chief Program Officer. During that time, I had the privilege of working with amazing staff and community partners to create housing programs, open emergency shelters, and support families experiencing homelessness. It was meaningful, challenging, and deeply rewarding work.
As I begin this new chapter, I’m excited to bring my passion for social justice, trauma-informed care, and community collaboration to Exalta Health. I believe that quality health care, whether it’s medical, dental, or behavioral, is not a privilege, but a right. Every person deserves access to compassionate, comprehensive care that honors their dignity and supports their well-being.
Exalta Health’s mission to reflect the spirit of Christ by serving our most vulnerable neighbors resonates deeply with me. This is a place where healing is not just about physical health but about restoring hope and building trust.
I look forward to working alongside the dedicated staff, volunteers, and partners who make Exalta Health such a powerful force for good in our community. Together, we will continue to provide holistic, patient-centered care to those who need it most.
Thank you for welcoming me into the Exalta Health family. I’m excited about what lies ahead and honored to help lead this important work forward.
Warmly,

Lisa Cruden
